What we collect
Account information (name, work email), your company and mine site details, the compliance records and documents you upload, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide the PitPro service: storing and displaying your records, enforcing access rules, sending service-related messages, and improving reliability and security. We do not sell your data.
Document storage
Uploaded documents are held in private cloud storage scoped to your company. Files are not publicly accessible; the application issues short-lived signed links when an authorized user views or downloads a record.
Access and sharing
Your data is visible only to users you invite to your company account, and to any read-only MSHA inspector link you explicitly create for a specific mine site. Inspector link creation, revocation, views and downloads are logged.
Retention
We retain your records for as long as your account is active. On request or account closure, we will delete or export your data subject to any legal retention obligations that apply to you as an operator.
