Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial of the full product. You can cancel during the trial.

What does the base plan cost?

$69/month, which includes 1 mine site and 3 active users. The annual base plan is $690/year.

How do I add more mines or users?

Additional mine sites are $35/month each. Additional user seats come in 3-user packs at $20/month per pack. Seat limits are enforced inside the app, so you always see how many seats are in use.

Are there other fees?

No. There is no setup fee, no per-document charge and no charge for inspector access links.

Does PitPro guarantee MSHA compliance?

No. PitPro helps you manage and document your MSHA compliance records and shows you what is missing. Meeting regulatory obligations remains the operator's responsibility.

Where are my documents stored?

In private, company-scoped cloud storage. Files are never public; the app issues short-lived signed links when you view or download a record.

Can another company see my data?

No. Every record is scoped to your company at the database level, and access rules are enforced on the server, not in the browser.

What can an MSHA inspector see?

Only the Digital MSHA Book for the one mine site you authorize, read-only, until the link expires or you revoke it. Views and downloads are logged.

Does it work offline in the pit?

PitPro installs as an app on iPhone and Android and is built mobile-first. Uploading records requires a connection.

What is a VCR in PitPro?

Vehicle Condition Report — a pre-op or post-op report on a unit, with defects, photos, mechanic follow-up, repair notes and a mechanic signature. Statuses are Open, In Repair and Closed.
