How it works
PitPro is built around the way a pit actually runs: records get created in the field and need to be findable in the office.
- 1
Set up your operation
Create your account, add your company and your first mine site. Invite up to 3 users on the base plan.
- 2
Load your existing records
Upload PDFs and Word documents, take photos of paper records, or scan multi-page documents with your phone. Everything files into the right MSHA binder section.
- 3
Work the day from your phone
Log training with a competent-person signature, write Vehicle Condition Reports at the unit, and record maintenance and equipment training as they happen.
- 4
Watch Action Required
PitPro continuously checks for missing records: open VCRs, unsigned training, incomplete task training and unfiled quarterly reports. Flags clear when the record exists.
- 5
Hand MSHA a read-only link
When an inspector is onsite, create a time-limited link to that mine's Digital MSHA Book. They see records only — no editing, no other mines, and every view is logged.
Ready when you are
Most operations can load their first mine book in an afternoon.
